Tukitinyasok ran a blinder at Wolverhampton on Friday night and failed by
just a nose to get up and win on the line under a good ride from Josh Doyle,
in fact, he was clearly in front just a stride past the line, and we were a
bit unlucky!
It certainly got everyones blood up and adrenalin pumping, not to mention
the sore throats next day!
He’s come back sound and well, and may run there again on 7th Feb if alls
OK.
He followed on from a good run by Think at Catterick, so we are in good form
at present after being quiet for a couple of months.
A Happy New Year to all and mostly a winning one. Good Luck and Good Health everyone!

Recent Runners

Think ran well before blowing up at Wetherby on 27th Dec in a hot Novice hurdle going to the last. He is entitled to come on for that run after being ill throughout Nov.

Tukitinyasok got no run at all on 22nd Dec at Wolves and was beaten only 4 lths. His offside eye was completely closed next day, from either kickback or a whip.

LATEST RUNNERS

Aneedh and Tukitinyasok both made the trip to Wolverhampton last Fri for their seasonal AW debuts and ran well without managing to get in the money.

Aneedh looked like running a big race but got no luck in running and when he got out and ran on the race was over. He may have another run before being given a rest, as hes had a hard season, and the ground is too soft over hurdles for him during winter.

Soks ran well but a bit gassy and too free, and after making all faded in the final furlong. He’ll run through winter and is in as good a form as ever.

Ifonlywecud had 3 quick runs over hurdles and is now handicapped.

Hes had to learn to settle as he tries to give everything all the time, but has jumped well and will return in spring.

Sharadiyn ran a blinder after 14 mths off to finish 2nd at Southwell at 66/1! His next 2 runs may have come too quick after that valiant effort and he will return in spring to hurdle/chase again.

After Think won his race in summer he was a bit disappointing next 2 runs, one on ground too firm, and then swallowing his tongue at Catterick in the race hes been 3rd in for the last 2 yrs. He’ll run in a few hurdles as hes not an AW horse.

YARD NEWS

A big thank you to Carl Chapman and his family who have been busy buying horses to add to their string, including Aneedh and War Poet, and also 2 yearling fillies by Fast Company and Frozen Power.

There are plenty of good times ahead with the promise in the yard at present, and we just need to keep the horses healthy and happy over the coming months.
